Wellness center: healthy and breathable finishes

When designing a spa and wellness areas, the choice of finishing materials is crucial to ensure durability and hygrometric comfort. Mineral finishes in natural hydraulic lime are particularly suitable for these contexts, thanks to their breathability, aesthetic appeal for continuous walls and floors, and compatibility with high-humidity environments.

The CALCE DILAVATO 011 finish was used in the wellness centerof the Hotel Bellavista in Cavalese, in the heart of Val di Fiemme, in Trentino. The natural texture applied to the walls and ceiling interacts with the architecture of the wellness space, contributing to a visually balanced environment, perfect for relaxation. The SABBIA DI FIUME (river sand) effect enhances light and volume.

Spas and wellness centers are environments characterized by high humidity, steam, and temperature changes. CREA breathable mineral finishes allow for proper water vapor regulation, limiting the formation of surface condensation and helping to reduce the risk of deterioration over time. The mineral finishes used in the project are also free of chemical additives, a fundamental characteristic for spaces dedicated to wellness, where air quality and environmental comfort directly affect the customer experience.
