OPUS COCCIO

Crushed pottery mortar for plastering, made with the purest natural hydraulic lime, dolomitic mineral aggregates, and crushed pottery with a particle size distribution ranging from 0 to 3 mm. The product is breathable, salt-resistant, and guarantees full compatibility and chemical inertness on surfaces, as well as compatibility with both modern and historic masonry. OPUS COCCIO suitable for architectural applications that require the finished work to have a specific color and the visible presence of crushed pottery aggregates.

OPUS COCCIO suitable for application on any brick, masonry, stone, or mixed-material wall, or on any homogeneous and even interior or exterior surface, and allows for the creation of a base coat of plaster on vertical walls and/or ceilings in a single layer with a thickness of 15/20 mm. Thicker applications require multiple coats, applied in accordance with best practices and allowing for the necessary drying time between coats. OPUS COCCIO been optimized to ensure maximum compatibility with historic masonry and is particularly well-suited for restoration projects.
