CONSOLIDA

Concentrated consolidating treatment formulated with ethyl silicate in an inert solvent blend for natural silicate-matrix sandstone, conglomerates made with hydraulic binders, and porous brick. The blend of solvents allows the product to penetrate deep into the capillary network of the deteriorated substrate, reaching the solid core of the stone, re-aggregating and reconsolidating the deteriorated material without producing saline byproducts and without forming surface films that obstruct the passage of water vapor.

CONSOLIDA for use in all cases requiring the consolidation of porous, deteriorated, or decohesive materials by restoring the material’s inherent cohesion, specifically for natural silicate-matrix sandstone, conglomerates made with hydraulic binders, and porous bricks. The product has a limited consolidating effect on limestone-matrix materials. The product does not substantially alter the breathability, appearance, or color of treated surfaces and offers high resistance to UV radiation.
