CONSOLIDA PLUS

Concentrated protective consolidating treatment formulated with ethyl silicate, siloxane oligomers, and additives (DC-OIT and IPBC) in an inert solvent blend, designed for natural stone in general—including stone with a limestone matrix—as well as conglomerates made with hydraulic binders and porous brick. The blend of solvents allows the product to penetrate deep into the capillary network of the deteriorated substrate, reaching the solid core of the stone, and re-aggregating and reconsolidating the deteriorated material. The siloxane component and the additives provide significant hydrophobic protection and prevent the formation of organic patinas.

CONSOLIDA is intended for use in all cases requiring the consolidation and protection of porous, deteriorated, or decohesive material in a single application, by restoring the material’s cohesive properties. It is specifically designed for natural stone in general—particularly those with a limestone matrix, such as carparo, travertine, marble, etc.—as well as conglomerates made with hydraulic binders and porous brick. The product does not substantially alter the breathability, appearance, or color of treated surfaces and offers high resistance to UV radiation.
