HYDRO BARRIER

A water-alcohol solution for creating hydrophobic chemical barriers, formulated with specific siloxane derivatives. The unique blend designed to deliver the active ingredient ensures maximum penetration and diffusion of the product within damp walls, allowing it to penetrate the substrate more uniformly than traditional standard systems in emulsion or gel form, thereby rendering even the smallest pores hydrophobic and halting widespread rising damp. The product contains no water-soluble materials or chemicals that are harmful to the masonry materials. It does not affect the surface’s breathability and is completely chemically inert. The product is supplied in a kit with HYDRO SACCA for gravity application using a specific system.

HYDRO BARRIER is suitable for application on any brick, masonry, stone, or mixed-material walls, provided they are free of cavities or gaps, where it is necessary to reduce widespread rising damp. HYDRO BARRIER can be used on walls that are to be plastered, in combination with the DRY RIN, DRY SOFT, or DRY IDRO dehumidification systems, or on exposed masonry, without altering the wall’s color.
