T SAL

A liquid polymeric anti-salt treatment in an organic solvent with high penetration capacity and excellent alkali resistance. T SAL is completely chemically inert toward the substrate and prevents salt migration in the presence of water without reducing the substrate’s breathability. This allows for the subsequent construction of macroporous dehumidifying plasters without the risk of their porosity becoming saturated as a result of salt crystallization.

T SAL is suitable for application to any brick, masonry, stone, or mixed masonry—or, more generally, to any surface with a high salt content—where it is necessary to apply an anti-salt treatment before proceeding with Dehumidifier rendering and plastering as part of restoration work on masonry facades affected by moisture problems. T SAL is a product optimized to maximize compatibility with historic masonry and is particularly suitable for restoration work.
